Since I'm drawing more than painting these days, I'll be posting a few more studies and plein air paintings. 

This plein air painting was done on a July afternoon in Scituate Harbor.  It was a beautiful day, but a storm was brewing and drove me away before I could work on it a little more. However, the colors stayed 'fresh' because I couldn't overwork them!  Unfortunately, when painting boats, you don't get a second chance!
